Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) Airport: EVA AIR The Infinity Lounge (Terminal 2)

Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) Airport: EVA AIR The Infinity Lounge (Terminal 2)

If you’re flying premium cabin out of Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, chances are you’ll have the chance to pass through one of the lounges operated by EVA Air. Among them is The Infinity, a sleek business class lounge located in Terminal 2 where EVA Air operates its departures.

With modern design, plenty of natural light, and thoughtful touches like a make-your-own bubble tea station, The Infinity offers a comfortable place to relax before a long-haul flight.

Quick Facts

Lounge: EVA AIR The Infinity
Airport: Taipei Taoyuan International Airport
Terminal: Terminal 2
Hours: 04:30 – 23:30

Access: EVA Air Royal Laurel Class, Premium Laurel Class, Business Class, Star Alliance First Class passengers, Star Alliance Business Class passengers. Of the 4 lounges, The Infinity is the only one specifically for business and first class passengers.

Location

Located in Terminal 2 on 4F, you’ll find 4 EVA AIR lounges including The Garden, The Star, The Infinity, and The Club. The Infinity shares a check-in counter with The Star lounge and are located directly across from the check in counter of The Garden.

The design is modern and calming, with soft lighting and neutral tones that create a relaxing atmosphere before departure. Large windows allow plenty of natural light into the lounge, making the space feel bright and open despite being inside a busy international airport.

Seating & Atmosphere

The lounge is spacious, well-lit, and comfortable, making it an easy place to relax before boarding. Seating is arranged in smaller clusters throughout the lounge, which helps keep noise levels low and provides a more relaxed environment for travelers.

One small drawback is that most seating isn’t designed for large groups traveling together. Families or larger parties may find themselves sitting in nearby clusters rather than around one large table.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the lounge and worked reliably during our visit.

Dining & Drinks

Boba tea #1 of 100, probably.

The food selection at The Infinity is relatively slim, and the offerings lean heavily toward Taiwanese cuisine.

Still, there are lighter options available such as fresh fruit and yogurt, which are perfect if you’re looking for something simple before a flight.

One thoughtful detail I appreciated was that several local dishes had “how-to-eat” cards placed next to them. Travelers unfamiliar with Taiwanese cuisine can sometimes hesitate to try something new, but simple guidance like this makes the experience far more approachable.

Make your own bubble tea station!

My favorite feature, though, was the make-your-own bubble tea station. Taiwan is the birthplace of bubble tea, so being able to mix up a fresh cup in the lounge felt like the perfect sendoff before our flight. I happily enjoyed a few cups (hundred) before we left. My favorite ratio is 60% boba + 40% tea!

Showers & Facilities

Kicking myself for not putting the toilet seat down before taking that picture.

The lounge offers shower suites, which are ideal for freshening up before a long-haul flight or if you’re a 10 year old that has spent the last 7 days at a wilderness camp.

To use the showers, you’ll need to request a pass from the front desk when you enter the lounge. If there’s a wait, the staff will assign you a time slot and let you know when to return. When we visited, the lounge wasn’t particularly busy, so we were able to grab a shower room immediately, which was a nice bonus before boarding.

Pro tip: If you plan to shower before your flight, request a pass as soon as you arrive in the lounge, especially during peak departure hours.

Also, not sure if it was just our shower, but the shower head shot directly towards the far wall and the entire floor was soaking wet.

Overall Experience

While The Infinity may not have the largest buffet compared to some flagship airline lounges, it still offers a comfortable and relaxing pre-flight environment with a few memorable touches — especially the boba tea station and helpful guides to local dishes.

If you’re departing Taipei in business class, it’s a pleasant place to unwind, grab a light bite, and freshen up before heading to the gate.
