Hotel Review: Hilton Tokyo Bay

Hotel Review: Hilton Tokyo Bay

We stayed at the Hilton Tokyo Bay in the Family Happy Magic Room (Ocean) during our trip to Tokyo Disneyland, and it was hands-down one of the best decisions of our visit. It’s incredibly convenient to the parks and much more budget-friendly than staying directly on Disney property without feeling like a downgrade at all.

A couple of the many beds in the family room.

The room itself was spacious and perfect for families (it can sleep up to six people). The absolute highlight for our kids was the bunk bed, but the real magic was the three hidden “surprises” built into the room—touch different spots around the room and it talks or plays magical music. Watching the kids discover these was honestly one of the cutest parts of the stay.

Hilton Tokyo Bay executive lounge breakfast

Breakfast before Disney!

The restaurant on-site was spectacular and we ate there several times and never got bored of the food. We also had breakfast in the executive lounge, which was a great way to start busy park days. (We never made it to happy hour, but it’s worth noting for future travelers!)

Location-wise, this hotel is super convenient. It’s on the Disney bus line from Narita International Airport, which makes arrival easy after a long flight. One important tip though: the return bus fills up fast. Book your return ticket as soon as you arrive at the hotel—otherwise you may be stuck paying around $200 for a taxi back to the airport. Bikes are also available to rent, but it’s cash only, so plan ahead.

Bathroom amenities for the kids - the little witches become loofahs!

We spent most of our free time at Tokyo DisneySea and exploring Tokyo, so we didn’t use many of the resort amenities. That said, it’s good to know the outdoor pool is only open during summer, and both a reservation and a fee are required to use it. There’s also a fitness center on-site if that’s part of your routine.

Bottom line: If you’re traveling with kids to the Disney parks and want something magical, convenient, and more affordable than staying on Disney property, the Hilton Tokyo Bay Family Happy Magic Room is a fantastic choice. Cozy for parents, straight-up enchanting for kids, and super practical for park-heavy itineraries. ✨
